Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu Tour – 2 Days / 1 Night

Your adventure begins with morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco.

We will travel toward the spectacular Sacred Valley of the Incas, surrounded by mountains, traditional communities and agricultural landscapes along the Vilcanota–Urubamba River.

Pisaq Market

Our first stop will be the traditional town of Pisaq, where you will have the opportunity to explore its colorful artisan market.

Here, local artisans offer textiles, handicrafts and traditional Andean products.

Pisaq Archaeological Complex

We then continue toward the impressive Pisaq Archaeological Park.

Located high above the valley, the complex features extensive agricultural terraces, ceremonial areas and spectacular panoramic views.

Your professional guide will explain the history and importance of Pisaq within the Inca world.

Urubamba

After visiting Pisaq, we continue through the Sacred Valley toward Urubamba.

There will be time for lunch before continuing the journey.

Lunch is not included in the standard package.

Ollantaytambo

In the afternoon, we visit Ollantaytambo, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley.

Explore its monumental terraces, temples and massive stone structures while learning about the historical and strategic importance of this remarkable Inca settlement.

Train to Aguas Calientes

After our guided visit, we head to Ollantaytambo train station.

We board the train for a spectacular journey following the Urubamba River toward Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu Pueblo.

Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation and have the evening free to rest and prepare for Machu Picchu.
