Day 1: Private Cusco City Tour

Cusco Cathedral – Qoricancha – Sacsayhuaman – Qenqo – Puka Pukara – Tambomachay

Your private guide will meet you in Cusco’s historic center to begin an exploration of the ancient capital of the Inca Empire.

Cusco Cathedral

Our first stop is the impressive Cusco Cathedral, located in the Plaza de Armas.

Inside, you will discover colonial religious art, impressive altars and paintings from the famous Cusco School of Art.

Your guide will explain how European religious traditions blended with Andean beliefs during the colonial period.

Qoricancha – Temple of the Sun

We will take a short walk toward Qoricancha, one of the most important religious temples of the Inca Empire.

Once dedicated to the Sun, Qoricancha displays extraordinary Inca stonework combined with the colonial architecture of the Santo Domingo complex.

Sacsayhuaman

We continue by private vehicle toward Sacsayhuaman, famous for its enormous stone walls and extraordinary Inca engineering.

Day 2: Private Sacred Valley Tour & Train to Aguas Calientes

After pickup from your hotel, we will travel by private transportation toward the spectacular Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Our first destination is Pisaq, where we will explore the traditional artisan market and experience the atmosphere of one of the Sacred Valley’s best-known towns.

Maras Salt Mines

We continue toward the impressive Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of salt pools cascade down the mountainside.

This extraordinary landscape reflects a tradition of salt production that has been practiced in the Andes for generations.

Moray

Our next stop is Moray, famous for its enormous circular agricultural terraces.

Your guide will explain theories about how the Incas used these terraces and adapted agricultural production to different environmental conditions.

Buffet Lunch in Urubamba

We continue to Urubamba, where you will enjoy an Andean buffet lunch.

Ollantaytambo

After lunch, we travel to Ollantaytambo, one of the most impressive archaeological complexes in the Sacred Valley.

Explore its enormous terraces, temples and monumental stone structures while learning about its strategic importance during the Inca period.

After the guided visit, we will head to the train station.

Train to Aguas Calientes

Board the Expedition train service for a scenic journey through the Urubamba Valley toward Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu Pueblo.

Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and prepare for the following day’s visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 3: Private Machu Picchu Tour – Return to Cusco

After breakfast at your hotel, we will walk to the bus station and travel approximately 30 minutes toward the entrance of Machu Picchu.

Your private guide will accompany you through the designated circuit for approximately 2 hours, explaining the history, architecture, engineering and spiritual importance of the legendary Inca citadel.

You will visit the principal areas permitted by your assigned circuit and enjoy some of the most iconic viewpoints of Machu Picchu.

After the guided visit, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes.

You will have free time to explore the town or enjoy lunch on your own.

Later, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo.

Upon arrival, our private transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.

Day 4: Private Rainbow Mountain Tour

Your adventure begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Cusco.

We will travel through the spectacular landscapes of the southern Andes toward the starting point of the trek.

Breakfast

Before beginning the hike, we will stop for breakfast in a local Andean community.

Trek to Rainbow Mountain

We will begin our hike toward Vinicunca – Rainbow Mountain.

As we walk through the high Andes, you will experience breathtaking landscapes, traditional communities and herds of llamas and alpacas.

The surrounding scenery is dominated by high mountain landscapes and spectacular views toward the Ausangate massif.

Rainbow Mountain Viewpoint

Upon reaching the viewpoint, you will have time to admire the extraordinary natural colors of Rainbow Mountain, take photographs and learn from your guide about the geological processes responsible for its distinctive appearance.

After enjoying the viewpoint, we will begin our descent toward our private transportation.
