During the tour, you will ride through mountains, lagoons, and agricultural fields while discovering some of the region’s most important attractions, including the Inca agricultural laboratory of Moray and the famous Maras Salt Mines, which have been used since pre-Inca times and continue to operate today. It is a perfect experience for those seeking adventure, history, and nature all in one day.
- ITINERARY
Day 1: Cusco – Cruzpata – Moray – Maras – Maras Salt Mines – Sacred Valley
Pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 08:00 a.m. to begin the journey by tourist transport toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing through Chinchero until reaching Cruzpata, where the cycling adventure will begin.
After receiving a safety briefing and protective equipment, we will ride along dirt roads surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes, visiting Huaypo Lagoon, the archaeological site of Moray, and the traditional town of Maras.
We will then visit the famous Maras Salt Mines, where hundreds of salt pools continue to be worked using traditional methods. Finally, we will descend along the Pichingoto route into the Sacred Valley, where we will enjoy lunch before returning to Cusco, arriving at approximately 05:00 p.m.
